Our Lady of Fátima, is a Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary based on the famed Marian apparitions reported in 1917 by three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal. The three children were Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto.
The message of Our Lady of Fatima is a simple one – that we must see ourselves as partners of God as we create the future. We must stop offending God, and remember to pray – especially through the Rosary and through petition to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The feast day commemorating the apparition and message of Our Lady of Fatima is May 13th.
The Our Lady of Fatima with Crown statue is fully hand carved and hand painted with oil colors gilded with composition gold leaf.
