Molina 2948-2 – Twelve Apostles Open Ciborium

Beautifully handcrafted in Spain, the Molina 2948-2 Twelve Apostles Open Ciborium combines traditional Catholic symbolism with exceptional European silversmithing. Featuring hand-engraved representations of the Twelve Apostles, an elegant silver-plated exterior, and a richly finished 24-karat gold-lined interior, this distinguished sacred vessel provides a beautiful and reverent setting for the distribution of Holy Communion.

The exterior features finely executed engravings depicting the Twelve Apostles, individually identified by name. These intricate representations celebrate the foundations of the Catholic Church and the men chosen by Christ to carry His Gospel throughout the world.

The beautiful silver-plated finish highlights the delicate engraving, while the contrasting gold-lined interior provides a dignified setting for the Sacred Hosts.

Designed with both beauty and practicality in mind, this open ciborium measures 4¼ inches high with a 5¼-inch diameter cup, accommodating approximately 300 standard 1⅛-inch communion hosts.

Handcrafted by Molina Artistic Silver of Spain, the 2948-2 reflects the manufacturer's longstanding tradition of fine ecclesiastical metalwork and exceptional attention to detail.

The ciborium is available in two construction options: silver-plated brass with a 24-karat gold-lined interior, or silver-plated brass with a sterling silver inner cup, also gold-lined.

The Molina 2948-2 is part of a beautifully coordinated collection of sacred vessels featuring the Twelve Apostles:
