Beautifully handcrafted in Italy by Demetz Art Studio, the #529 St. Jude Thaddeus Statue is an exceptional representation of the beloved patron saint of difficult and seemingly hopeless causes. Available in hand-carved Linden wood or fiberglass, this distinguished religious statue combines traditional Catholic symbolism with the extraordinary artistry of Italian ecclesiastical craftsmanship.

St. Jude Thaddeus, one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, is depicted standing in flowing robes, holding an image of Our Lord close to his chest. A flame rises above his head, symbolizing the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles at Pentecost.

The image of Christ, traditionally associated with St. Jude, symbolizes his devotion to Our Lord and identifies him as one of the Church's most beloved intercessors.

The statue's beautifully sculpted facial expression, intricate drapery, and carefully proportioned figure create a reverent and dignified presentation suitable for parish churches, chapels, shrines, schools, and devotional spaces.

Available in traditional hand-painted colors or natural and stained wood finishes, each statue displays the craftsmanship and artistic character associated with fine Italian religious sculpture.

The hand-painted version features beautifully coordinated robes, delicate facial detailing, and the distinctive image of Christ and Pentecostal flame.

Hand-carved wood statues are intended for indoor display.

Fiberglass Construction

The fiberglass version faithfully reproduces the original Demetz sculpture while offering a lighter-weight alternative to carved wood.

Available in traditional full-color painting and select monotone finishes, fiberglass is particularly well suited for churches, chapels, devotional areas, and larger statuary installations.

For outdoor installations, select an appropriate weather-resistant monotone fiberglass finish. Hand-painted full-color fiberglass is not recommended for prolonged outdoor exposure because painted colors may fade.

Due to the dimensions and delicate nature of these statues, freight shipping is generally required. Shipping charges are determined by size, weight, and delivery location, and may be quoted or billed separately.
