About Saint Carlo Acutis
Saint Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) was an Italian Catholic teenager whose short life became an extraordinary witness to the Catholic faith. Born in London and raised in Milan, Carlo enjoyed many of the same things as other young people—computers, technology, sports, friends, and video games—but placed his relationship with Jesus at the center of his life.
From an early age, Carlo developed a profound devotion to the Holy Eucharist, attending Mass frequently and spending time in Eucharistic Adoration. He famously referred to the Eucharist as his “highway to Heaven.”
Carlo was also remarkably gifted with computers and used his knowledge of technology for evangelization. One of his best-known projects was the creation of a digital exhibition documenting Eucharistic Miracles from around the world, combining his love of the Catholic faith with the emerging possibilities of the internet.
Carlo also cared deeply for the poor, defended classmates who were being mistreated, taught catechism, and sought to live his everyday life in friendship with Christ.
In 2006, at only 15 years old, Carlo became seriously ill with an aggressive form of leukemia and died on October 12, 2006. He was beatified in Assisi in 2020 and canonized as Saint Carlo Acutis by Pope Leo XIV on September 7, 2025.

- Standard paint colors, with little or no decorative edging. This class includes imitation wood finishes.
- Premium Full Color
- Blended paint colors with additional shading. Little decorative edging.
- Fancy Full Color
- Highest quality specialized painting, pearlized finishes, with extra decorative edging and design embellishments.
Interior vs. Exterior
All statues are available as a special order for outdoor use. You can never put an indoor statue outdoors and expect it to last more than a year. Many companies simply spray a thin coating over their indoor statues and call them exterior finishes. These also will not last, and will quickly crack and degrade in even normal outdoor weather conditions.
Our outdoor statues are made from scratch with special materials designed to look great for a long time outdoors with minimal care. Here is our process:
1. We start with a heavy-duty commercial grade resin mixed with marble dust.
2. Then we cover it with an epoxy-based exterior primer.
3. Then we paint it with highly-specialized automotive-grade exterior paints.
4. Then we bake the statue in a special infra-red oven to fully cure the automotive paints.
5. Finally, we top them with a UV-protectant polyurethane clear coat finish.
The result of this process is a very hard and very strong finish that has proven over many decades to withstand hot sun and also severe winters.
As special materials and coatings are utilized, exterior finishes cost more than interior finishes. Monotone finishes, which are all one color such as all white, bronze, stone, etc., are a slight upcharge. However, full-color exterior finishes are quite a bit more complex, thus quite a bit more expensive than an monotone exterior finish. The resulting look of a full-color exterior finish is fairly similar to the full-color interior finish, although not exactly. Most exterior colors are just a slightly different shade than the interior finish. While we can also achieve the fancy decorative finish, the embellishments are not quite as elaborate as their interior counterparts, although still very beautiful. Any metal crowns, halos or accessories are not usable outdoors as they will quickly corrode and oxidize. If these accessories are desired, we can make them from resin so they are permanently part of the statue. This would be a special order and an additional cost.
