The Molina #5061 Covered Ciborium is a beautifully crafted traditional sacred vessel featuring rich Gothic ornamentation and detailed religious medallions.
Handcrafted in Spain by Luis Molina Acedo, the #5061 is constructed of brass and finished in 24K gold plate. Three contrasting silver-plated medallions decorate the base, depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and St. Joseph with the Child Jesus, giving the ciborium a distinctive traditional appearance particularly well suited for Gothic and classical church interiors.
Standing approximately 9" high with a 4 7/8" diameter cup, the ciborium accommodates approximately 270 hosts. A fitted lid with cross finial completes the traditional design.
Molina has been producing fine liturgical metalware in Spain since 1939, combining traditional silversmithing techniques with exceptional attention to detail. The #5061 is designed to coordinate with the matching Molina #5060 Chalice and #5062 Open Ciborium, allowing a parish to create a complete matching set of sacred vessels.
