Space-Efficient 56-Light Design
The St. John stand provides an excellent balance between candle capacity and overall footprint.
At only approximately 13.38" deep, it can be positioned against walls, near shrines, in side chapels, or within other devotional areas where deeper candle stands may be impractical.
Despite its relatively shallow profile, the stand accommodates 56 individual candles, making it suitable for both medium and larger parish settings.
Built-In Candle Storage
Two integrated shelves provide convenient storage and display space for replacement St. Killians candles.
This allows parishioners to easily access a candle while keeping additional inventory organized directly within the stand rather than requiring a separate table or storage cabinet.
Patented Three-Glass Candle System
Each candle position utilizes the St. Killians three-piece glass system.
The colored outer glass sits securely within the metal candle holder. A second glass acts as a protective barrier against excess wax, while the candle itself burns within the inner glass.
This system helps protect the colored glasses, reduces wax buildup, and keeps the surrounding devotional area cleaner.
Self-Extinguishing Candle Design
St. Killians votive candles are designed to burn for approximately 60–90 minutes.
At the end of the burn cycle, the remaining liquefied wax passes through an opening at the bottom of the inner glass and is extinguished as it drops into the water bath below.
The system eliminates the need for disposable plastic or metal votive cups and helps reduce wax spills, smoke, soot, and routine maintenance.
