The Molina AS-197-2 Open Ciborium is a finely crafted liturgical vessel from Molina’s distinguished Romanesque Collection, designed for the reverent distribution of the Holy Eucharist during Mass.

Measuring approximately 5" high with a 6¼" diameter cup, this substantial open ciborium holds approximately 350 hosts, making it especially well suited for larger parish liturgies, solemn celebrations, feast days, and churches where a higher-capacity ciborium is required.

Its broad open form provides easy access during the distribution of Holy Communion while maintaining the elegant proportions and traditional ecclesiastical character associated with Molina church metalware.

Its broad 6¼" cup provides generous capacity while maintaining a manageable overall height, making it suitable for use at the altar and during larger parish celebrations.

Romanesque Collection

The AS-197-2 coordinates with the Molina AS-197 Chalice and AS-197-1 Ciborium, allowing a parish to build a matching collection of altar vessels with a consistent Romanesque design.

The AS-197 series is part of Molina’s traditional ecclesiastical metalware collection and reflects the historic European styles for which the company is known.
